The effectiveness of the NUTROZ may be reduced when used with damp or wet items.

For best performance ensure all items placed in the NUTROZ are dry.

Changing the filter is easy! Watch our step-by-step video guide below to learn how to change your filter.

Once new filter is installed, press and hold the filter button for 5 seconds until the filter light turns off. This can only be done when device is plugged in and unlocked.

If handling filter contents outside the filter bag, wearing gloves is recommended. For more information see Nutroz user manual.

The lid bracket holds up the Nutroz lid and stores your power cord. Simply wrap it around to secure for ultimate portability and convenience.

The moderate pressure is required to lock and soundly seal the device so ozone doesn’t escape during the treatment cycle.

You cannot open Nutroz during a cycle. For Nutroz to properly rejuvenate your items, the lid needs to be completely sealed for the ozone to stay locked in for the entire cycle.

If ozone escapes, there may be a risk of ozone exposure. See user manual for risks in addition, your items will not be completely deodorized and will need another treatment cycle.

If you must open the Nutroz due to an emergency see below for emergency opening methods:


For the powered emergency release, press and hold both the “START” and “STOP/OPEN” buttons for 5 seconds. the Nutroz will beep after each second, and on the fifth beep the lid will unlock. An alarm tone will play to indicate possible release of ozone gas.

For the unpowered/manual emergency release, break away the bottom safety panel, and reach to pull the small silver handle which will release the lid. Manual release will involve possible escape of ozone gas. *NOTE: This method will make the device thereafter unusable.


Yes! Nutroz offers a one-year limited warranty with every purchase.

How it works:

Nutroz is covered for 1-year limited warranty under our standard product warranty. For peace of mind, we offer an additional two-year extended warranty at the time of purchase; same terms and conditions apply.

Coverage: Non-transferable The warranty period for any device replaced or refurbished under this warranty shall be the remainder of the original warranty period. This warranty does not cover filter kits or any other part of the device that is, by its nature, meant to be consumed in the operation of the device. Replacement shipping is covered within the USA (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S Territories) for any product covered by your warranty.

Notify us at either info@nutroz.com or call +1 (888) 708-7876 and provide: (1) The model number and serial number, (2) A description of the nature of any defect in the nutroz device or part, and (3) Evidence of the warranty start date. If it is determined that the warranty can be applied, you will be provided with a return authorization number and further instructions.

Nutroz Refund and Return Policy within 30 days of purchase.

You have 30 days after purchasing your order to decide if you want to keep or return your items. To qualify for a refund all items must be in the same condition you received them. Email: customerservice@nutroz.com (subject line: RMA) or call +1 (888) 708-7876 to obtain a Return Authorization Number within 30 days of purchasing your order. Place the nutroz device inside its original shipping box and mail it to the following address: Red Stag Fulfillment Attn: Puro Canada Inc. 5530 Island River Drive, Knoxville, TN 37914. Return shipping will not be refunded. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly and visibly on the outside of your returned package. Returns that do not have a Return Authorization Number written on the outside of the package will not be opened and will, at the discretion of the Company, either be returned to sender (at sender’s expense) or not mailed back. In either case, no refund will be issued. Purchases that meet this Return and Refund Policy will be refunded back to the original method of payment. A 5% non-negotiable restocking fee plus any associated return freight charges will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will be applied to your account once the item has been received and inspected through our warehouse.

Nutroz converts oxygen into ozone. ozone mitigates odor causing molecules and bacteria through a process called oxidation. Once items have been deodorized, Nutroz actively converts ozone back to oxygen.

Ozone has a distinctive smell that humans can detect even in the smallest concentrations—as few as 10 parts per billion. The ozone smell is a sign that odor has been removed at its source. Nutroz is designed to prevent user exposure to high levels of ozone. To ensure optimum device performance of ozone filtration, change the filter as needed as described in the Nutroz user manual.

The time varies depending on the material. Scents on soft, porous items take longer to dissipate as they absorb far more ozone molecules than hard, non-porous surfaces. Some individuals may have high sensitivity to ozone and should take extra caution.

Staphylococous aureus (S.aureus) and Escherichia Coli (E. coli) on hard non-porous surfaces as demonstrated in our independent lab results.

The NUTROZ device, like many other devices, will require periodic care and maintenance in order to keep it running as efficiently as possible.

Follow these steps to maintain your NUTROZ device. Note: Disconnect the NUTROZ device from any power sources before cleaning. Do not put water or use a dripping cloth or towel inside the NUTROZ device to clean. Ensure any cloth or towel is fully wrung out before wiping the inside surfaces.

1. Do not put heavily soiled items in the NUTROZ device. Soiled items may transfer their impurities to the inside of the NUTROZ device, reducing the efficiency of the ozone generation. If any soiling is noticed on the inside of the NUTROZ device, ensure it is properly removed before running the next cycle.

2. Dust may collect within the NUTROZ device, especially around the fan input and exhaust ports. Ensure these areas are kept clear of dust and debris.

3. After prolonged use, a slight discolouration or haze may build up on the interior surfaces of the NUTROZ device. This can be minimized by regular cleaning of the inside surfaces with a microfiber cloth or towel moistened with a mild soap and water solution, ensuring that the cloth or towel is fully wrung out. Do not operate the NUTROZ until the device is completely dryFor the most effective outcome on your items, wipe your nutroz out with a slightly damp cloth after each use to remove any dust or debris. Do not use vinegar, soap or chemicals.
